Get Rid Of The Fat With Free Weights And Dump The Machines In The Gym

Posted on August 1st, 2010 by John Steczko

Free Weights Are Better When You Want To Get Rid Of The Fat

Free weight with dumbbells or barbells involve much more muscle groups than machines in the gym. This is because you train balance, stabilization and coordination with free weights. Except that, every time you train with a free weight you make different movements. Training with free weights also involve much more muscle groups.

When you train more muscle groups you create bigger positive stress on your body.

When your exercise on the machines you make all the time the same movements. This means your body can adapt to it easier than to free weights.

To get rid of the fat, you cannot let your body adapt to your training. Otherwise the positive stress you create in the gym is going to be smaller and smaller.

Why Starvation Diets Lead To Fat Storage And What To Do About It With Zig-Zag Method

Posted on July 29th, 2010 by John Steczko

Starvation Diets

In one of the previous articles about diets, you can read that the less you eat the more fat your body is saving. So on diets you burn less and less fat. Except that, you lose muscle when you diet.

This is because our ancestors had to save as much fat as possible in order to survive. They could go out hunting for the whole day and don’t eat at all. Our body comes from starvation times. Today we don’t need to save as much fat as our ancestors. Unfortunately our body cannot see that the world has changed.

If you want to burn fat you must avoid starvation diets. Otherwise you will only lose muscle weight, dehydrate yourself and your body is going to build more fat storing enzymes.

Fat Storage

There are two types of enzymes which take care of our fat:

Lypogenic – Enzymes which store the fat
Lipolitic – Ezymes which release the fat

How To Train HIIT In A Way That Helps You Burn Belly Fat

Burn Belly Fat With HIIT

In one of the previous articles about High Intensity Interval Training you can read what HIIT is. In this post we’re going to find out how HIIT can help you in burning your belly fat.

Let’s recap first. Mostly when people talk about HIIT they mean a training where you run. You run very fast for a short amount of time and after that rest with slow running. Later you run with fast tempo again and rest again, etc.

It does not have to be running outside. You can also do your HIIT on a stationary bicycle, regular bicycle, elliptical and other machines that fit into this type of training.

Is It Duration Or Intensity That Helps You Burn Belly Fat?

Fitness experts could never agree what’s better for burning belly fat: duration or intensity? Is it that the longer you exercise the more fat you lose? Or is it intensity that helps you burn more fat?

Fat Loss Exercise To Help You Burn 2 Pounds Of Fat Every Week

Fat Loss Exercise + Fresh Air

I read once a book which was written by a business man and motivation speaker (Robert Kroll). He wrote about oxygen and how important it is for our brain. Many people asked him how is it possible that he can make so many presentations and still not yawn not even once. He said that he is giving his brain fresh air every day though quick exercising outside. He said that fast marching or slow jogging for 20 minutes is enough to give your brain air it needs for the rest of the day.

You perhaps don’t care if you get fresh oxygen or not but still this strategy of exercising is something you can use. 20 minutes is a great start to burn the fat. It is not too long which won’t make you very tired. You also save time. Also if you start with only 20 minutes of exercise, you slowly adapt your body to fat loss and training, which is much better then jumping right into the middle of an intensive training program.

Another Exercises To Burn Belly Fat

If you want to start jogging but it is too hard, then walking is an option. Many people don’t like walking because they believe its intensity is too low. This is true but they forget that people who never run before in their lives may have problems with jogging.

Simple Words That Can Improve Your Belly Fat Loss With 60 %

Posted on July 22nd, 2010 by John Steczko

Do you know who Joe Weider is? He is a professional bodybuilder. He was born somewhere around 1920 (some sources like wikipedia show that he was born in 1919, while others say it was in 1922) in Canada. No matter when he was born, he looks really young. When I saw his picture for the first time I thought “He must be around 70 years old, maximum 80”. To my surprise, that guy is almost 90! Can it be possible? People who train their whole lives look much younger. My karate coach looks like he was 40 years old, but actually he is 50 (in 2010). Isn’t it amazing what our bodies can do, when we give it enough movement and energy? But let’s go back to Weider…

You can read about him on the internet. One more interesting thing about him can be that he is a creator of many bodybuilding magazines and a co-founder of IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilders). Look at citation below this sentence, read it aloud for yourself and feel what it contains.

“Strive to excellence, do more than you can, love your friends, tell truth, be faithful and respect your mother and father. These principles will help you to gain mastery, they will make you stronger, they will fulfill you with hope and will direct you to greatness.”

- Joe Weider
