Brief Background About John

I started training back in 2005 and I don’t regret that. It was a journey that tough me much about fitness world. I wanted to razor-sharp my posture and I wanted to create a healthy lifestyle. I started to run and exercise in the gym. My self-esteem increased and I was looking for more ways where I could improve my health.

Because I trained in the gym, I also wanted to gain some muscle. I started to eat more so my body could have access to everything it needs for building muscle. Unfortunately I was not controlling my calories and I ate too much. Besides that, most of food I ate were carbohydrates. Carbs are most often responsible for fat gain, because they increase sugar level in our blood. After a few months I could see a belly fat coming up.

I didn’t know what to do. I decided that I will stop eating sweets and chocolate but it didn’t help. I was getting more and more frustrated as time went on and my belly fat became worse and worse. It was then I decided to stop eating so many carbs and I created a nutrition plan where I ate half of the food I ate so far.

After a month my gut disappeared. It was then I understood how important calories are and why it is essential to have a nutrition plan. My self-esteem increased and I had a very important lesson that I will never forget. I decided to drop my body fat as much as I can and after three months I had 7 % of body fat. This was a magnificent experience.

Today training is a big part of me. Except bodybuilding, I also like to run from time to time and I train martial arts like karate and MMA. I also like extreme sports.
